Who remembers The Rescuers? A really old cartoon, I think it came out in like the 70s or something. It was all about this group of mice that worked for the UN to rescue children from evil kidnappers or something. You know, the average weirdness of children’s cartoons of the time. But I must be honest, when I was younger, I watched the tape of that movie over and over…

On the subject of rescuers, Preferred Solutions did a fair amount of rescuing in the early 2010s. They started feeling like firefighters or paramedics with the amount of crises they needed to prevent. Two massive implementations stood out above the crowd. The first, a large fuel distributor in the more rural countryside. Some other “expert’s” attempt at an implementation was…well…it was pretty bad. Imagine a cake being assembled by someone who had no idea what a cake was. Yeah, kinda like that. So the chefs at Preferred Solutions had to step in to save the cake. And save it they did. It was so good in fact that the company in question is still eating the cake to this very day… That metaphor got a little tortured there, sorry about that.

The other rescue was a large fruit manufacturer and distributor across the mountains somewhere. They had some communication issues with their accounting system and lo and behold, Evolution had a new function that allowed everything to communicate smoothly and efficiently. How do you like them apples? And of course, as always, Sally as our general on the frontlines was the pinnacle of professionalism and skill, traits she proves to maintain, time and time again. Those truly were some exceptionally interesting times. But they were far from over…
